About

I sell Hondas in Frisco. This is the page I wish my customers had.

I’m Jeshua Farmer, a sales consultant at David McDavid Honda of Frisco. I built this site because the question I hear most, “what will it actually cost me?”, deserves a straight answer before you drive over, not after an hour at a desk.

What this site is

A personal reference, not the dealership’s website. It reads the dealership’s public listings several times a day, pairs every car with Honda’s published specs and prices, and works out what each one costs out the door in Texas and by the month. As of Nov 2, 2026 that covers 393 new Hondas on our lot across 12 models.

How the numbers are built

  1. Price. The dealership’s listed price for the exact car, before the documentary fee. When a trim has no car on the lot I use Honda’s MSRP with destination and say so.
  2. Tax. Texas motor vehicle sales tax at 6.25% on the price minus any trade-in, plus the doc fee, and the dealer inventory tax of under a tenth of a percent.
  3. Fees. The $225 documentary fee and $201 for title and registration. Nothing else is added.
  4. Payment. 60 months at 9.99% APR unless you change it. I show 9.99% to everyone until a lender has looked at their credit; approved buyers usually do better, and I’d rather you plan around the cautious number.

The same arithmetic runs the estimator, every model price guide, the cheapest-today page and the figures quoted in the blog. The tax and fees explainer shows each line on a real car.

What it leaves out, on purpose

  • Rebates and Honda Financial Services programs. They change by month and model and only lower the number, so I leave them for the desk rather than promise one.
  • Your trade’s payoff, accessories and protection products. Those are your choices and are priced separately.
  • Any markup. The estimate is the dealership’s listed price plus what the state charges.

How I work

No pressure, ever. Send an offer, ask a question by text, or just read. An offer or an invitation to come in is not an agreement on price; only a signed buyer’s order sets one. What it does start is an honest conversation about the right car and the right fit, and if that turns out not to be a Honda I’ll tell you.

Where I am

David McDavid Honda of Frisco, serving Frisco, Plano, McKinney, Allen, Prosper, Little Elm, The Colony and Dallas. The dealership’s official listings are at www.mcdavidhondafrisco.com.

How often the figures refresh

The lot is re-read every couple of hours and every page is rebuilt from it, with the date stamped on the page. A refresh that looks broken is thrown away rather than published, so a wrong number is far less likely than a slightly stale one. If you ever spot one, text me and I’ll fix it.
